A major update coming to the Quest version
We've been working on optimization and support for native Quest features like hand tracking and passthrough for some time and we can now announce that the first fully optimized Quest release is coming soon.
The new version will be able to deliver up to 120hz framerate on Quest 2 (depends on the complexity of models in the scene) comparing to less than 72 from before. The trade off is the complexity of sky background. There will be no more skymap option but ground texture and stage model is still available.
On top of that, passthrough is fully supported. You'll finally be able to place the characters in your room.
Hand tracking is supported as well. You can put down the controllers and your virtual hands will appear and they'll map the exact pose and movements of your own hands. Currently you are not able to control UI with your virtual hands yet but there is basic physics binding that allows simple physics collision with the physics objects from the models.
Since this major update is imminent, we are going to skip version 1.3.4 version for Quest and go straight to 1.3.5 release early next month. Please stay tuned for the next release.
